Haywood Community College - Phase II

Part of bringing a new trail system to Haywood Community College involved building new trails to connect old trails they already had. We always want to salvage any trail that’s existing if we can.

In this case we had to close a user created short cut and erosion area to maintain use of the original trail. A drain and rolling grade dip at the top of the trail stopped all water from entering the trail to control  any erosion issues. The rock walls and native plant landscaping has deterred the users from short cutting the trail for good!
